How to dry a swimsuit fast without ruining it

  • To help rid the fabric of chlorine or salt water, which can damage the swimsuit if left untreated, quickly rinse off in the shower or run the suit under cool water.
    • Avoid ringing out the swimsuit. That will stretch the fabric and damage it.
    • Don’t put a wet swimsuit in the dryer. This can shrink and damage the fabric.
    • Drying a swimsuit in direct sunlight can fade the colors.
  • Lay the bathing suit flat over a clean towel.
  • Gently roll up the towel with the suit still inside. The towel will absorb excess water without damaging the fabric.
  • Unroll the towel and keep the swimsuit laying flat on the towel in a shaded area outside. Keep out of direct sunlight.
  • Flip the swimsuit over once during the drying process to ensure the whole swimsuit dries and dries quickly.
